Outsystems Architect - Utrecht

As an architect you will be involved in different projects to show your architectural skills. Work together with your architect colleagues to design the most suitable solution for our complex projects.

What are your key responsibilities?

• Support the definition of future and actual state architecture;
• Work with engineering teams to present an architectural design solution for our customers (complex projects);
• Understand our client’s business, advice our clients and propose a customized solution;
• Translate business requirements into viable and scalable designs
• Design enterprise layered architecture applications and perform sizing of features;
• Assess existing applications in performance, architecture and development best practices to guarantee development best practices across projects;
• Define and communicate decision principles, focusing on engineering autonomy;
• Create architectural blueprints and monitor adherence to architectural guidelines;
• Oversee technical implementation on strategic, highly complex or uncertain projects;
• Setup guidelines for developers to implement design patterns and perform team guidance, especially for tech lead;
• Maintain a technological radar and lead research in highly impactful topics;
• Build proofs of concept for disruptive technologies;
• Be a thought leader by producing key content for internal and external use.

What you bring
BSc in computer science (or related area) or extensive experience in IT
4+ years of experience in OutSystems Technical Lead role
Strong technical skills in architecture patterns, solutions design and web application performance
Experience in web applications, project delivery and performance troubleshoot
Experience designing and building highly complex systems and software products
Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, development best practices
Experience on high scale cloud native products and proficiency in Agile methodology, namely Scrum
Able to have a technical conversation in English (a must)

Our four stage recruitment process

1. Review and First Interview
Based on your cv and cover letter we would like to contact you for a first interview.

In the first interview you will meet an IG&H manager and a manager People & Culture who will interview you based on your motivation, resume and (technical) fit for the role

2. Second Interview
In the second interview you will meet an IG&H manager. Here we will have a deeper look into your experience, qualifications and technical fit for the role. You will also be presented with one or more issues, to see how you would handle them.
3. Third Interview
In the third interview you will meet an IG&H partner.
Here we look at what makes you unique.
4. Offer
We make an offer to the candidate we feel is the best fit for the role.
