What are you going to do?

As (senior) manager retail, you will guide our retail and FMCG customers in becoming digital frontrunners, becoming more customer-oriented by developing digital strategies and customer-centered propositions. Whether it’s about designing a new omnichannel proposition or developing an innovative and optimized delivery concept, you ensure that our customers transform and remain relevant.

To achieve this, you make optimal use of our multi-disciplinary teams who specialize in technology, data & analytics, organizational-, and digital transformations. You are familiar with the strategic aspect of transforming businesses and can make others think outside of the box.

IG&H keeps you on your toes in a supportive environment: the range of customers and issues you encounter mean you’ll continuously be acquiring new skills. As a (senior) manager you’ll lead customer projects,  you’ll have direct contact with our senior customers (mostly C-suite) and work with a high degree of independence and freedom. You are responsible for managing customer interactions and you play a pivotal role in building and maintaining customer relationships.

What we ask
University Master’s degree with strong results
5-8 years of relevant experience, with several years in strategy consulting and/or end-to-end digital transformation projects
In-depth understanding of Retail and/or Consumers Goods industry; relevant industry network is desirable
experience with strategy projects and/or end-to-end digital transformation projects
Strong management and communication skills. The ability to bring together all stakeholders and support senior executives to act on the given advice
Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop leading-edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value
Entrepreneurial spirit and an eagerness to make change happen

Our four stage recruitment process

1. Review
Based on your cv and cover letter we would like to contact you for a first phone screening and/or invite you for an orientational meeting
2. First interview
In the first interview you will meet two colleagues. Here we will have a deeper look into your experience, qualifications and fit for the role.
3. Case round
In the second round you will meet a Manager and a Director. You will be presented with a case to see how you would handle it. Here we look at your analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
4. Third round
Here, you will meet two partners. Here we look at what makes you unique. You will be presented with one or two issues to see how you handle them.
