The insurance sector is changing rapidly. Players taking over each other, insurers (having to) make drastic choices to remain relevant, insurtechs coming up with completely new solutions, the movement from ownership to use by consumers and entrepreneurs, you name it. IG&H plays a leading role in this transition by advising and guiding players in their digital transformation. And we are growing fast! We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic colleague who, like us, has an enormous drive to help players in the sector (insurers, intermediaries and chain parties) take a fundamental step further in terms of innovation, digitalisation, agility and customer relevance, among other things.

What are you going to do?

As Manager Financial Services, you will guide our Insurance clients in becoming digital frontrunners, becoming more customer-oriented by developing digital strategies and customer-centered propositions. Whether it’s about robotisation, process optimisations (STP making), developing new applications, supervising conversions and product rationalisations, drawing up and implementing IT roadmaps, you ensure that our customers transform and remain relevant.

To achieve this, you make optimal use of our multi-disciplinary teams who specialize in technology, data & analytics, organizational-, and digital transformations. You are familiar with the strategic aspect of transforming businesses and can make others think outside of the box.

IG&H keeps you on your toes in a supportive environment: the range of customers and issues you encounter mean you’ll continuously be acquiring new skills. As a manager you’ll lead customer projects,  you’ll have direct contact with our senior customers (mostly C-suite) and work with a high degree of independence and freedom. You are responsible for managing customer interactions and you play a pivotal role in building and maintaining customer relationships.

What we ask
Master’s degree
> 6 years of experience in insurance environment, of which a substantial part in project and/or consultancy roles
You have experience and vision on digitalisation and process improvement issues. Think of robotisation, process optimisations (STP making), developing new applications, supervising conversions and product rationalisations, drawing up and implementing IT roadmaps, etc.
You have a top-class sports mentality and enjoy working with a team of consultants to make the difference at the client’s site and with the client
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a plus.

Our four stage recruitment process

1. Review
Based on your cv and cover letter we would like to contact you for a first phone screening and/or invite you for an orientational meeting
2. First interview
In the first interview you will meet two colleagues. Here we will have a deeper look into your experience, qualifications and fit for the role.
3. Case round
In the second round you will meet a Manager and a Director. You will be presented with a case to see how you would handle it. Here we look at your analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
4. Third round
Here, you will meet two partners. Here we look at what makes you unique. You will be presented with one or two issues to see how you handle them.
